It's realy just an extremely shallow river, meandering over some shale, at it's own pace...

Didn't even manipulate the colors or anything!

Me too! It usually comes in shades that are a bit more brown or grey in Southern California, so real greens are always a treat for me. :)

=)

If you like the color green, the northern mid-west is perfect... of course that comes along with crapy weather, and humidity =(

But other than that.... The parks in Ohio kick ass!

I love the coast here, even without the green. When I was a kid, I lived near the beach, and most of the time the temperature was between 65 and 75 F...it was absolutely wonderful for me. The trouble is I'm not living on the coast now, but a little bit inland and dealing with winter cold, high winds, summer heat and humidity, and smog depending on the season. In the next couple of years I will move north (either a couple of counties, or maybe all the way to B.C.) but I'll stay as close to the coast as I can, because that is what makes me happy. I do hope to see more of the country over the next few years. My grandmother's family was from western Ohio, but I have never been there. I have been to Virgina and I can remember how green that was... that color is etched in my brain.
